"Success comes from knowing that you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming."
-John Wooden
How do you define success? Often the first response is something along the lines of “money,” “fame,” “influence,” “power.” On closer thought, however, these may only be superficial signs of success.
So . . . what is success?
John Wooden – the most successful college basketball coach in history- had this to say on the matter: "Success is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become the best you are capable of becoming.”
Success is not just about the acquisition of money, the pursuit of power, or the glory of fame. It is knowing you are giving your best, and, in turn, becoming your best. It is sincere effort without fear of failing. It is not settling for what is, but pushing for what can be.
It is living life to your full potential.
In becoming your best, you attract success!
