“The organization cannot grow beyond the level of my leadership. For the organization to grow—I must grow. For the organization to realize its potential, I must enhance my performance. My growth as a leader contributes to the organization’s growth.”
– From Martin Willoughby’s Success Principles
Achieving success in your business, your career, or your personal life isn’t just happenstance – especially for leaders. You have to aim consciously for success – you have to lift the lid to success. Simply, you have to prepare.
As we consider “lifting the lid” to success – Principle #2 of Success Routines, Rituals, Habits – ask yourself these 7 questions:
What success routines, rituals, and habits have I utilized to ensure I’m growing as a leader?
What strengths am I enhancing?
Am I keeping up with the changes in the marketplace?
How well am I understanding the motivational needs of my team?
Am I surrounding myself with strong people?
Am I attracting voluntary followers?
Am I getting better and more effective as a leader? And how do I know this?
